Wow! I never realized all the work, time and energy involved in producing a blog page and getting myself out in the public. The old saying holds true, ..."Nothing in life is easy, to be successful it takes alot of work." Despite all this I am truly Happy.
Today, the flu bug has paid me a visit, nothing a dose of medicine will not help. My life as it stands now is Take each day by day stance. One minute you have to prepare yourself for anything that might be thrown at you: partner's mood swings, your lack of sleep or family matters, it's all part of the course or should I say corp. lol !
Now on to my thought process :
I stated to ponder a few days ago , what can the Department of Veteran's Affairs ( VA) do to further help our soldiers with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD), how can they assist them with other matters to be exact and stick to their commitments. Why does a soldier have to wait hours or an entire day to be seen my a doctor, why does it take them four hours to get a prescription filled, why for the life of me why is this happening? And as for the soldiers or veteran's being able to access their medical records as told by our fearless leader, this is not true, there is no system in place for this , why are these guys being treated as second class citizens, can someone tell me the answer to this ? My Dad is a veteran and because of these issues he refuses to get any sort of assistance from the VA, what does this say about this agency? We are failing the very same people who have come to defend and protect our country why? America please tell me why? My soldier has upcoming surgery scheduled with the Va and he is terrified, he thinks they will botch his surgery and amputate a body part versus a simple stitch , the VA has failed us, what can be done to bring confidence to our soldiers?
