Hello, it's happy Friday a day off to get things accomplished. The lil guy is home sick , but that's okay will work around that too making a few adjustments to accomplish the goals. So there's a Chicken pox outbreak at the school my child attends YIKES! I didn't realize that disease still existed, thank you military for making us get 510 shots everytime we have to see the pediatrician. LOL ! You know I love our military.
Anywho, got some sad news from a coworker the other day made me think how most of us take our lives for granted. My co workers boyfriend committed suicide, he decided to shot himself and unfortunately the kids had to witness this horrible incident. The kids both under the age of 12. The Dad suffered from depression and I met him and had no clue he suffered from depression. He was so upbeat and funny who knew. Breaks my heart , it's too close to home. I can tell you I can understand where the girlfriend is coming from, she has latched on to me like never before, needed to find questions to the answers we will never know. I can understand her pain and refer her to other resources to help her in this journey, its comforting for me to know I can help another person during this challenging time. As I heard the news the other day, I immediately thought what are we doing ? how can we help ?where do we go? Depression is an invisible illness as is PTSD, Multiple Mood Disorders and ADHD, its all the same in a way .....looking at another person we cannot tell what they are feeling I guess if we did life would be in this perfect world of our own creation. In closing, I just wish we will all LOVE THE LIFE WE ARE LIVING and if we don't like the current situation we are in we need to make rational plans to change it and let's always remember that our actions impact everyone not just us!
Peace to us all.
How can we help donate to a mental illness organization/ suicide prevention organization , research and be there for your loved one.
